Star Wars : Episode 7 Review

During my childhood, I often mistook ‪#‎LiamNesson‬ fighting with a‪#‎LightSabre‬ similar to ‪#‎IanMckellen‬ (‪#‎Gandalf‬) fighting with his staff! (Even their costumes somewhat looked the same back then tongue emoticon )

But later fascinated by the scenic beauty of ‪#‎NewZealand‬ captured in‪#‎LordoftheRings‬, I preferred watching it rather than Star Wars!

With the recent hype over Episode VII & too many references of‪#‎StarWars‬ in ‪#‎HowIMetYourMother‬ & ‪#‎TheBigBangTheory‬, finally binge watched the previous 6 episodes this week after office hrs!!

All set to watch my 1st ‪#‎IMAX‬ experience in Namma ‪#‎Chennai‬ & witnessing a few fans in their ‪#‎Jedi‬ costumes with their light sabres glittering on the movie hall, the anticipation grew more!

The IMAX experience, the kind of CG work available these days which were unimaginable in the 1980s when parts 4, 5 and 6 released, the glimpses of the familiar yet old faces of ‪#‎HanSolo‬, ‪#‎PrincessLeia‬ & the droids ‪#‎3Po‬ & ‪#‎R2D2‬ brought mighty thrills !

Yet having all these factors, the film was more like a remake of the earlier episodes rather than a new episode.. When there is a whole galaxy available for the makers to create plot lines, all they showed was again a‪#‎DarthVader‬ like character (having a similar mask and a spin-off tale to tell)building again a bigger ‪#‎DeathStar‬ & this time a weak lead pair had to rush up & destroy it, besides adding to the fact that my fav #3Po didn't even get a chance to showcase its sarcastic one liners !!

‪#‎TheForceAwakens‬ only to go back into hibernation once again!!

Unga aasaiku 'manja satta sevapu pant' maatitu aadnadhulaa podhum nu image paakaama Vijay  nadichaa adhu andhaalu rasigargalku pudikla.

Seri avanungaluku pudicha maari punch vitu flashback la pesnaa neutral audience ku pudikla..

Politics, vidudhalai puligal pathiyellaam maraimugamaa konjam dialogue vitaa evanukum pudikla. Ivlo dhaan Puli padathula prachana.

Aanaa idha poi Sura padathoda compare panra Thala fans ah kanakula serka venaam. Avangaluku Vijay padam release aagradhe pudikla.

P.S : Ivlo periya star cast ah serthavanungaluku Rahman ah thookitu DSP ah music poda vida epdi thonucho.. Idhuke anubavinga nallaa !

Yatchan Review

Anandha Vikadan la writers SuBa  ezhudhuna 'Minnal vaega mini express' thodarkadhai screen la paakrapo light ah dull adichadhu ennamo unmai ! Book la irukradha screen la maathradhula Hollywood ae sodhapudhu.. Nammaalunga matum ennavaam..

Vishnuvardhan back to his 'Arindhum Ariyaamalum' days nu 1st half la feel aarapo, illa back to 'Sarvam' days only nu anganga moka podudhu 2nd half.

Twitter Thala-Thalapathy panchaayathuku koluthi podra maari scenes vacha perumai recent ah Vaalu ku aprom idhukum kedaika pogudhu!! :( Podhumdaa saamingra alavuku Thala Puraanam !

Still Kamal's comedy films la varra maari neraya characters & kolapamaana situations makes the film interesting..

'English Vinglish', 'Life of Pi' la paatha Adil Husain as villain is a little refreshing..

Timepass movie..
